Vinyasa Yoga

Our teachers pull from a variety of vinyasa styles; sometimes focusing on on specific style and sometimes fusing different styles together. Below are some class descriptions of what you might expect. All vinyasa yoga classes practice sun salutations and flow from one posture to the next in conjunction with breath.

Empower Vinyasa Yoga
Through deep rhythmic breathing and a balanced stream of postures that build in empowerment this style of yoga encourages practicing kindness to others, allowing each individual to find their true source of strength. It is an energetic and active practice that encourages balance, concentration, meditation and relaxation through continual movement. Dynamic sun salutations, standing postures, back bends, forward bends, twists and inversions among other positions will be practiced.

Soft Vinyasa Yoga
A soft flowing class using deep rhythmic breathing and a balanced stream of postures that are connected in a gentle manner, easing into each yoga asana in a moving and meditative state. Sure to leave you with feelings of love in your heart and peace in your mind. Gentle sun salutations, inversions, forward bends, back bends, twists and standing postures among other positions will be introduced.

Sweet Peace Vinyasa
A vinyasa based class as described above, which includes a sampling of dessert provided by Sweet Peace Bakery and/or World Peace Jubilee restaurant!

Vin-Yin
A combination of soft vinyasa & yin yoga.

Yoga Vibration

This class flows through a balanced stream of yoga postures with the vibration of uplifting music; from the Beatles and Bob Marley to Moby and the Beastie Boys. It is an energetic, spiritually engaging and body-mind strengthening yoga practice that encourages balance, concentration and blissful meditation through continual movement, ending with a deep relaxation. In this class we will connect with the rhythms of nature, letting out our wildness, our true expression and connecting to the earth. Sure to leave you floating out of class with a yoga buzz and natural high.
