A Pilates based class which focuses on core stability, incorporating exercises from other arts, such as yoga and dance; bringing together abdominal strength, balance and endurance with stretching, breathing and relaxation. These non-impact exercises work to prevent and rehabilitate from injury, increase flexibility, circulation and poise.

Pilates Mat

Our Mat Pilates class moves through the traditional exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to build core strength, stamina and coordination. Pilates is great for increasing strength, ease of movement, flexibility and balance - not to mention nicely toned abs! This class combines breathing and stretching to gently warm you up for the day with challenging exercises that will help you build strength and stability from the inside out! These non-impact exercises work to prevent and rehabilitate from injury, increase flexibility, circulation and poise.
