Vince Stross

Vince Stross has been on his conscious path since 2003. At that time he weighed 300 pounds and didn't exercise in any way. He just started walking. For an entire year he walked every day and started noticing changes in his body and appetite. In 2005 Vince discovered TaiChi and Qigong. He started studying these forms, along with SoundBody Healing techniques, under Master Lasorso at the White Willow School of TaiChi. This program taught him about integrated movement, breathing, and sound - which continue to be the foundation and guidelines for his spiritual and physical practice. He discovered Reiki shortly after and began learning this Japanese method of energy healing through Patricia Garry, while learning the Chinese healing practice of Qigong.

Vince became a vegetarian in 2006 when he learned how industrial animal agriculture is laying waste to the Earth. In this same year, he completed his formal Reiki training and was attuned as a 3rd degree healer & teacher. Throughout this same year he began to open up and notice all of the horrible ways we treat animals - including each other! In 2007 he discovered the book "The World Peace Diet" by Will Tuttle and has been a practicing Vegan since.

Working professionally as a software engineer for over a decade, Vince has the mental training for a fluent logical view of reality. However, since 2003 his experiences have begun to awaken him to his true calling as a guide and healer. He has been focusing his practice intently on family & friends - and most importantly himself - since this time. Now he is ready to share his stories and knowledge with others, and through teaching hopes to go even deeper into his blended practice of healing through Reiki, TaiChi, and Qigong.

He and his partner Amy are currently focusing and creating a self-sufficient LocaVegan lifestyle. Vince has started extending his services as a healer and teacher on a quest for a more resilient source of income... as the paradigm shifts away from the material and into the spiritual.
