Alison Vodnoy came to dance as a child, and came to yoga as a woman with a whole lot of questions about how to combat violence. She has found a whole lot of answers and even more questions in both physical practices. Over nineteen years of dancing, three years on the mat, and seven years teaching dance, she’s formed the hypothesis that answers always lie in the body. Alison has trained with Ballet Chicago, is a 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance Certified instructor, and teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha classes at You Do Yoga, Mercy Healthplex, Anderson Wellness Connections, Urban Active and World Peace Yoga. She really enjoys German poetry and has frequent adventures in her kitchen with cilantro.
