At one time a black stone similar to flint was used to test the purity of gold or silver. Touchstone came to us as the test or criterion for determining the quality or genuineness of a thing. We believe our feeling of gratitude & dedication to world peace is our touchstone for determining the genuineness or authenticity of our lives. A touchstone is also a reminder, a place to go when we are worried, need reassurance or are full of joy; a place to be reminded of all the reasons to feel grateful & how we can create peace on a daily basis.

Our name “World Peace,” our Spiritual Urban Village is inspired by all the riches the earth has to offer and the ability to appreciate those gifts at any moment. Succulent fruits and vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds; endless colors, fragrances and textures are the nectars for our playground of delicious food creations. Presentations soothe the soul, tickle our senses and bring joy to our hearts and minds. Likewise the glorious gifts of our bodies, souls and spirits inspire “World Peace” and create a touchstone connection with the joy and satisfaction of movement and meditation. Yoga, dance, satsang (community) and more provide a way for us to integrate all parts of ourselves in a synergistic appreciation of our delicious peace-filled life.
