A Clarion Call goes forth to the Jivamukti Tribe, "Come and take action at the Jivamukti Global Satsang"
“The yoga scriptures tell us the most important sadhana or spiritual practice that we can be involved in during this time of global crisis and great shifts in consciousness is satsang. It’s more important than anything else. More important than meditation or asana or even chanting…when we do chant, if we do it in a Satsang with other people, then of course it is extremely powerful. Satsang means that we hang out with like minded beings. That we are in the company of the enlightened mind…You get together for the single purpose of raising consciousness in yourself and supporting others, like right there and then…not like after next week…that’s good too, but the satsang is about actually being with the enlightened mind right now.” –Sharon Gannon
Please join Jivamukti teachers from around the globe for a coming together of raising consciousness and transformation. To make this vision we hold for world peace and further spiritual development leading to enlightenment a reality, satsang is not only essential, it is the only way we will ever achieve our goals. Our vision is to see peaceful communities where everyone respects and appreciates each other, all beings, and the earth. By joining together in satsang, we create the opportunity to educate, grow, raise consciousness and be a model for a peaceful and caring community that serves the greater good.
“Through the power of satsang, when we speak to others, who are already listening, it makes us all stronger and actually there is no better way to gain the kind of strength and courage and calmness and wisdom and commitment that we need to do the great work that we’re all involved in doing…we get that from satsang…we get that from satsang.” –Sharon Gannon
World Peace Diet Facilitator TrainingEating for Spiritual Health and Social Harmony – Explore how our food choices have far greater ramifications than most of us realize, especially for spiritual and psychological health, peace and social justice. Inquiring deeply into food brings us to the hidden core of our culture and beyond: to a path of immense and inviting social transformation and personal healing. By understanding and transcending the “military-industrial-meat-medical-pharmaceutical complex” we can awaken vibrant natural health and our inherent capacity for compassion and wisdom. In this full day intensive we will fully explore concepts from The World Peace Diet and learn about how we can spread the message by becoming group facilitators.
