Seated Meditation

While yoga, dance and tai chi are all forms of meditation with movement, a seated meditation practice is done with very little or no movement with a conscious and still mind. Meditation is best practiced after some sort of stretch or movement class so you can sit for longer periods of time. Techniques for meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) will be explained from time to time.

Goddess Meditation

Bringing together powerful feminine energy, gratitude and light through group meditation, evoking the spiritual Goddess in each of us.

Open Practice

This is an opportunity for you to come and engage in your spiritual practice of any discipline you wish: yoga, meditation, pranayama or anything that helps you find peace and be in the moment. We invite you to come and take advantage of this beautiful space, absorb the loving energy and nurture yourself through the creation of your own practice.

The yoga class will meet at the historic bandstand located in the park. It is one of the oldest structures in the Cincinnati park system and a beautiful location for yoga. Surrounded by trees, blue skies and green grass, we will embrace the presence of nature in yoga.

Class runs from the second weekend of May till the third weekend in September. Bring a mat or towel, water and sunglasses. See schedule for day and time. Class canceled if raining!
