Vic Fleenor is a yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner and certified aromatherapist. She studies holistic health, herbology, and art with various teachers and schools in the Cincinnati area and recently completed the 300-hour teacher training through World Peace Yoga. Vic began studying yoga as a teenager in Pumpkin Center, Indiana, where yoga became a very big part of her daily life. After a knee injury at 17, she stopped practicing asana (the physical postures of yoga) for a few years. She continued to study philosophy and practice meditation often, but didn't have a teacher. After moving to Cincinnati to study art, she rediscovered yoga and its amazing healing capacity. Vic attended a yin yoga with Reiki class because the description of the class suggested it was safe and beneficial for injuries and when she felt relief from pain in her knee, she felt mentally relieved and like the fog had been lifted from her life. After that class, Vic began a journey of transformation and a deeper understanding of yogic practices. Her dream is to contribute to the happiness of others in a way where people can learn how to take back their personal power and learn to create whole health for themselves and each other, naturally. Yoga is an incredible tool for healing, connecting with nature, creating community, and living life in a harmonious way. Vic teaches a variety of classes in the area and especially enjoys teaching gentle and restorative yoga. Inspired by nature and amazing teachers, her mission is to teach people that peace is possible, good health is a birthright, and happiness is undoubtedly attainable.
