Chances are you have already met Liz Wu.

You may not have realized it, but she was sitting at the table next to you in the coffee shop. Or the person you passed in the park. Or the waitress who served your lunch a year ago…you may even already be Facebook friends.

Liz is one of those people who seems to be buzzing around everywhere, and truly believes that there are no strangers, only friends you have not yet met.

Fun facts about Liz:

Liz feels that life is about following your passion. She is a professional musician, and both teaches and performs. Fitness is also very important to her, because it allows her to do the things she loves. She would like everyone to feel the freedom that comes from feeling fit, strong and healthy.

Liz started Pilates on a whim, after hearing many people say how much they enjoyed it. She continued taking classes after noticing an astonishing decrease in the chronic back pain she had been living with since her teen years. Continuing the practice, she noticed the effects of Pilates in other areas of her life - simple everyday activities such as lifting/carrying heavy objects, reaching for things in hard to reach places, and maintaining good posture, became much more effortless. Eventually, Liz realized that she had derived so much benefit from Pilates, she had to learn as much about it as possible and share it with as many people as she could. She is still in the beginning stages of this journey, and very excited to welcome you along.

Liz is certified as an AFAA group fitness instructor and holds certifications in Power Pilates and Zumba. She also teaches a rhythm and movement class for children called RITMO.

She is honored to be a part of the World Peace family and looks forward to seeing you in class!
